Things Do Happen When Push Comes To Shove

I know, I know I have written about the problems, and the disorganization inherent in Nigerian banks these days. You need to see the latest images coming from the dramas all over the Nigerian banks.

The latest is that of a middle-aged woman climbing the fence of the bank to lay hands on her own money. This type of image makes me wonder if there is nothing fear and anger can not do. I always believed that the story behind people doing unexpected things when faced with mortal danger is a story, a tale by African moonlight but the policy of starvation into obedience to this government has proven my hardened heart wrong.

Those danger-induced deeds stories are true. Never argue against them again. If you don't believe the narrators, believe me, and many other Nigerians from second class to classless. It is true.

The nation is not one known for its exercise culture and women are worse for it in terms of health. To see middle age ladies acting out in the manners described above is a thing of strange to many. Not in our culture and character but hunger is a culture changer from what I can see.

This currency swap actions of his government have its advantages. Many have gone because of it( too sad) but many cowards and silent tigers showed their true colors and still doing. People are starving before the eyes of their neighbors, and parents and they have money in the banks. They are tired of the government stories and shameless self-mockery as most see it.

But the government knows what they are doing and kept to the agreement of eliminating as much as possible anyone by allies oaths. Wondering at times why so-called enlightened, educated, mature, and organized humans have any business with gods that never rest until he or she sees red liquid flowing.

If you know of any one with a connection to the gods like that or has any business with the followers of such gods and you are still sound in the head, my uninformed advice is for you to sever a relationship with such gods and such followers of such gods.

A stitch in time as the saying goes.

What type of person will be in steady contact with such gods and not be like him?- do I need to tell you the characteristics of this god? I am sure you know It all already.

As if the federal policy of the government on our money is not capturing people at the rate they estimated, the bank’s management is pushing and forwarding the policies with their plans that defy human understanding to the management will anyone explain it to me in simple language how in the bank, the ATM of that bank will be paying people with another bank’s card money and not those with the bank's card?  Imagine the loyalty and reciprocity involved in banks moves in daring times like this in Nigeria.

I am sure if called to explain away the reasons behind it, words like “empathy and interest of others” will be included in it.

The madness of the highest order. But we are in Naija where anything happens. People of every class are affected by his entity virus that no leader has been able to find vaccines for since the 70s and from the way things continued getting worse, there is no hope.

Touts are in control of every sector, every brutal move seen each day has their signature written all over them.

Too many laissez-faire attitudes from Peter, Paul, and Paulina in the uniforms. Until people stop having this “after the election” everything will return to normal hope and know that what is happening is an intentional act of some people.

If you see the records of the people that have died in the name of currency exchange others nations embark on without anyone realizing that anything is going on, you see how organized we are as a nation.

Now, we have two different colors of the same denomination of bank notes in circulation and still, crowds still gather without luck to make withdrawals and only promises are what we get from them.
